Amazing contract to hire opportunity for experienced Welder to join a premier custom Job Shop on the East side!

For more than 40 years, this precision Machine Shop in Columbus has been performing sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly and finishing for manufacturers in a wide range of industries. Welder needed on 1st shift to perform MIG and TIG welding in a variety of metals including stainless and aluminum. Additional duties may include polishing, grinding, spot welding and stud as needed.

Schedule is 1st shift is Mon-Fri 7am-3 Pay range will begin between $20-$25/hr. based on experience and weld test.

Experience: -3+ yrs TIG and MIG welding -Experience welding a variety of materials including Stainless, Aluminum -1yr experience with Modular Fixturing -Proven experience reading and interpreting drawings and weld symbols -Ability to grind, polish and spot weld as needed -Ability to provide own helmet/hood and gloves
