Randstad is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fusing metal components to create structural parts used primarily in the telecommunications and construction industries. You will work in a fast-paced fabrication shop environment, ensuring all welds meet strict quality and safety standards for heavy industrial use.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Welding & Assembly: Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel and other metals. Position, align, and fit parts to form complete units or subunits following blueprints.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and layout specifications to ensure accurate assembly of cell tower components and structural steel.

• Fabrication: Operate shop machinery including saws, grinders, torches, and drills to prep materials. Clean and smooth weld joints using grinders or wire brushes.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for defects (cracks, porosity, or undercut) and perform repairs as necessary. Maintain tolerances according to project specifications.
