This is an opportunity to work on large-scale industrial projects, using technical skills to build and maintain critical piping systems. As a pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of piping networks while growing your expertise in an essential trade. salary: $22 - $28 per hour shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

• Measures, cuts, threads, and groves pipes to required specifications
• Install piping systems for industrial, commercial, and mechanical applications
• Connect pipes via welding, brazing, soldering, or threading
• Ensure proper pipe alignment, support, and anchoring according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematics
• Follow detailed work instructions to meet project specifications and deadlines The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment • wearing steel toe shoes • working in a non-temperature controlled environment • manual lifting up to 40lbs • standing for 8 hours at one time • working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week Skills

• Mig (2 years of experience is required) • Tig (2 years of experience is required) • Stick (2 years of experience is required) • Problem Solving • Blueprint Reading (2 years of experience is required) • Multi-tasking Qualifications
