The Opportunity: High-End Custom Fabrication Are you a "finishing" welder who takes pride in clean, sanitary-grade work? We are seeking a highly skilled Custom Fabricator/Welder to join a global manufacturing leader in Riverside. This is a role for a craftsman who can translate complex blueprints into high-tolerance, world-class machinery used in the global food supply chain.

Core Responsibilities • Advanced Fabrication: Build complex, custom industrial machinery using specialized GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) welding techniques.

• Material Mastery: Work extensively with 14-16 gauge stainless steel, managing heat effectively to avoid material warping, shrinking, or distortion.

• Technical Precision: Interpret and follow precision technical plans, engineering drawings, and 3D models to execute flawless welds.

• Quality Ownership: Monitor fit-up and tolerances to ensure every finished product meets strict hygiene and safety standards.

• Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance on welding tools and determine necessary repairs to ensure shop efficiency.

What You Bring to the Shop • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with a heavy focus on TIG Stainless.

• Specialization: Proven proficiency in thin-gauge stainless steel welding is required.

• Blueprint Expertise: Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints independently.

• The Weld Test: Ability to pass a rigorous, 2-hour hands-on weld test (TIG/MIG on thin-gauge stainless).

• Physicality: Ability to work overtime as needed and move/lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

• Welding: Operate manual or semi-automatic equipment (GMAW/GTAW) in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

• Fabrication: Layout, align, and secure parts using calipers, rulers, and squares.

• Quality Control: Monitor processes to prevent material warping, shrinking, or distortion.

• Maintenance: Set up tools and perform routine upkeep on welding equipment.

• Operations: Complete tasks within budget and on schedule while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The essential functions of this role include:
