Position Title: Robotic Welder

Salary: $58,240-$72,800/year

Shift: 1st

Hours: 9am-5:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Robotic Welder for a company in Kansas City, MO. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Robotic Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret GD&T on part drawings (dimensions, weld call outs, concentricity, etc.)

• Certified welder in 2G & 3G (4G preferred); will certify onsite

• Write programs for new parts scheduled to run on the robot

• Flexibility to pivot to achieve company goals while maintaining a sense of urgency

• Employee training and development

• Problem-solve, troubleshoot when problems occur

• Learn and get hands dirty while being diligent with the equipment

• Comply with company safety policies and procedures

• Inspect parts produced for accuracy and quality

• Maintain shop equipment repair and maintenance records

• Manage cost and consumables

• Monitor area for safety and cleanliness

• Work independently and within a team environment

• Troubleshoot robot cell malfunctions and return to production

Robotic Welder Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Robot Welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Highly detail oriented and organized in work

• Acceptable written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and results

• Must have initiative and the ability act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives

• Must possess a strong desire to learn

• Occasionally required to walk; to climb stairs and ladders, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

• Regularly move about the facility

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; seek assistance in the lifting of more than 100 pounds

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus

• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and vibration

• Occasionally exposed to extreme cold, and extreme heat

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

• Work well within a matrix organization
