Position Title: MIG Welder

Salary: $37,440-$43,680/year

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7am-3:30pm

QPS Employment Group is hiring an MIG Welder for a company in Kansas City, MO. This is a direct hire opportunity.

MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accountable for the proper handling of products during fabrication as well as accurate and timely completion of fabricated products meeting customer specifications

• Work closely with peer metal fabricators and industrial painters to achieve a common goal: customer satisfaction and on-time delivery

• Work under general supervision to accomplish goals

• Maintain safe and secure work environment and observe company safety procedures

• Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness and organization

• Very familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the warehouse

• Demonstrate a degree of creativity and independent judgment to accomplish goals in a safe, efficient manner

• Proactively share suggestions to improve processes or shop efficiency

MIG Welder Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent job experience

• Metal fabrication and repair with basic knowledge of repairing using analytical and logical skills

• Familiarity with pallet racking and industrial equipment

• MIG welding experience

• Ability to read tape measure to 1/16 inch

• Forklift operator or ability to become forklift certified

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
