Position Title: Structural MIG Welder

Wage: up to $28.00 per hour based on experience 

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Thurs with overtime available Fri) 

QPS Employment Group has a great Structural MIG Welder position available at a company in Jackson, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Structural MIG Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform MIG welding on heavy plate materials.

• Utilize .035 and .045 wire for structural welding applications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job specifications.

• Ensure welds meet size, strength, and quality requirements.

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

• Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Structural MIG Welder Requirements:

• Previous MIG welding experience in a structural or heavy plate environment preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good attendance and strong work ethic.
