Position Title: Welder

Wage: $26.95 - $27.95/Hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

Hours: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM Monday - Friday

Welder Responsibilities:

• Performing complex manual and automatic MIG and TIG welding operations on a variety of materials, including aluminum and stainless steel, to meet production requirements

• Executing rough and finish grinding to ensure weld integrity and surface quality

• Planning and determining the sequence of operations for intricate jobs, including situations where blueprints, sketches, weld symbols, or process sheets may be limited or unavailable

• Setting up and adjusting tooling, fixtures, and equipment; performing component layout and alignment prior to welding

• Identifying, designing, or modifying basic tooling and fixtures to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Maintaining welding equipment and work area to ensure safe and clean operations

• Conducting visual inspections and ensuring welds meet quality specifications and tolerances

• Initiating corrective actions to resolve welding or fabrication issues; troubleshooting complex problems and reporting major equipment malfunctions

• Performing material handling while maintaining housekeeping and organization

• Providing technical guidance and support as needed/directed

• Performing additional tasks as needed including assisting with service work, product failure analysis, and troubleshooting when required

Requirements For Welder:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior welding experience

• Ability to work independently and demonstrate decision making on complex jobs

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical documentation

• High level of visual accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours; lifting 50 pounds occasionally
