Overview

The Fire Sprinkler Fitter role involves the new installation, testing, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to coordinate with other trades while performing various technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• New installation of Fire Sprinkler Systems
• Testing and inspection of Fire Sprinkler Systems
• Conduct repairs and respond to service calls
• Conduct inspection/testing and maintenance of Fire Sprinkler Systems and compile reports accurately
• Interpret and install Fire Sprinkler Systems according to plans
• Coordinate with other trades and construction schedules
• Perform steel cutting, pipe threading, pipe grooving, and pipe hanging
• Install residential CPVC systems

Requirements

• Massachusetts Fire Sprinkler Journeyman License
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Fire sprinkler work experience including inspection, repair, service, and installation
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Ability to work on-call hours
