Overview

Coherent Technical Services, Inc. (CTSi) is seeking a full-time TIG Welder to join their team. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a government clearance and must have good knowledge and understanding of welding applications.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams.
• 3 years of experience as a commercial/aerospace welder.
• Current and valid certification(s) are a plus.
• Good knowledge and understanding of heat applications and heat absorbents during welding operations.
• General knowledge of shop practices including layout, drilling, sawing, grinding, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a daily basis.
• Must wear approved PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts as required.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
