Overview

RiverStone Group, Inc. is a leading producer of construction aggregates in the Midwest, with a quality Fabrication Shop located in Rock Island, IL. The Fabrication Shop Worker position involves fabricating custom steel products from blueprints to finished products in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and comply with all OSHA and company policies/procedures.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Position, clamp, tack weld work pieces together per print, full weld out or assemble sub structures.
• Operate CNC plasma cutting table after training.
• Communicate with shop management and team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Verifiable welding history.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.

Additional Information

• Starting wage of $24-28 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
• Monday-Friday schedule with some Saturdays if business needs require it.
