Overview

ATMI Precast is a construction company that values clear communication, strong processes, and quality work. As a Field Operations Technician, you will link project management, production, and field installation, ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Track quantity of braces.
• Maintain company vehicle used for jobsite activities.
• Utilize construction drawings and erection sequence information to observe and report progress or issues on job erection.
• Band braces and load them onto flatbed trailers.
• Attend jobsite visits and meetings to track progress and take notes for the Project Manager.
• Perform yard fixes that require welding, cutting, or other repair work.
• Schedule all pole brace pick-ups with project management.

Requirements

• Coordinate with ATMI Indy subcontractors when required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Welder.
• Dependable and available during off hours.
• Must have reliable transportation (public transportation not available in this area).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Must be able to follow instructions, particularly those regarding safety.
• Must be able to work effectively with a team.
• Forklift and man lift certification required.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and stand or walk occasionally, sometimes on uneven ground.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform tasks with repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms.
• Must be able to start work at 6 am.

Additional Information

• Typically 40 or more hours per week.
• Some Saturdays may be required.
• Work Location: On the road.
