Overview

The Architectural Signage Fabrication Specialist at Eye 4 Group works in a creative shop environment, transforming materials like aluminum, acrylic, and steel into high-quality signage components. Founded in 2014, Eye 4 Group specializes in interior and exterior signage for commercial properties across Indiana and surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Review design proofs, blueprints, and CAD files to map out each build.
• Measure, mark, and prep materials before fabrication.
• Cut, route, glue, weld, and finish parts for channel letters, monument signs, and custom structural fabrications.
• Operate shop equipment including welders, saws, routers, sanders, and drill presses.
• Run in-process quality checks to catch and correct issues early.
• Coordinate with the Fabrication Lead plus Design and Production teams to resolve build challenges.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and storing raw materials and completed parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on shop equipment.
• Participate in CNC operations and in the paint booth when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Requirements

• Hands-on background in fabrication, welding, or a related trade.
• Experience with CNC operation or automotive paint is a plus.
• Ability to read and work from design proofs, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Confidence using welding equipment, power tools, and general shop machinery.
• Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely in a shop environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
