Overview

QuikCut, LLC is expanding and seeking experienced Welder/Fitters for our Fort Wayne location. Our welders are responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling metal components in accordance with detailed blueprints and project specifications, requiring precision craftsmanship and strong blueprint reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50# unassisted.

Additional Information

• 2nd Shift (4pm-2:30am), Monday-Thursday regular schedule
• $3/hour shift premium for 2nd shift
• Weekly pay
• Paid holidays (eligible after 90 days)
