Job Description
Overview
The Lead Robotic Weld Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining robotic welding equipment, specifically Fanuc Robots, while ensuring quality and compliance in the welding process. The role requires effective communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Touch up weld points as needed.
- Troubleshoot errors and error codes.
- Complete all quality related documentation as per work instructions.
- Communicate potential quality and/or compliance deviations.
- Tack parts together for Robotic Weld.
- Operate and run a Robotic Weld Cell.
- Finish welding and perform weld touchup on post-welded parts.
- Perform basic crane lifts.
- Operate basic hand and air tools such as die grinder, angle grinder, and drill.
- Troubleshoot CNC machines.
- Read blueprints.
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with Fanuc Robots.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming.
- Proficiency in Industrial Robot Programming.
- Experience with Welding Setups for Production.
