Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes, including welding and assembly, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various fabrication equipment including MIG welding machines.
• Read and interpret schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for metal shaping.
• Perform pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and general manufacturing tasks.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers and micrometers to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to Safety codes & standards.
• Engage in rigging activities for lifting heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Agricultural water drainage machine experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and basic math skills for measurements.
• Experience with steel assembly desirable.
• Ability to operate plasma table, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely.
• Knowledge of machining processes and soldering techniques is a plus.
• Strong understanding of fabrication principles including assembly processes.
• Capability to work with various tools including power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Must be able to understand a sketch up print.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Operate a Press Brake.
• Operate a Horizontal Band Saw.
• General Mechanical Knowledge.
• Band up and Package products on a pallet for shipping.
• Operate hand tools, grinder, drill, swing a sledge hammer.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be a good welder.
• Must be able to operate oxygen/acc torch.
• Must be able to operate a plasma torch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
