Overview
The Welder and Fabricator role involves performing MIG welding operations on various metal components, interpreting blueprints, and fabricating metal parts using various equipment. The position requires proficiency in welding techniques and a strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding operations on various metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, torches, and other hand tools.
- Fabricate metal parts using press brake machines, cranes, and other equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes.
- Strong knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
- Experience operating press brake machines, cranes, and other fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with soldering and pipe threading techniques.
- Knowledge of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
