Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated welder fabricator who excels in a team environment. This position involves welding primarily industrial equipment with a focus on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints to determine appropriate welding process.
- Read and accurately use measuring tools including tape measure, caliper, and micrometer in both imperial and metric units.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding.
- Operate power grinders/tools, drill press, and other miscellaneous hand tools.
- Take work instructions and communicate effectively with others.
- Conform to all safety procedures and policies.
Requirements
- Ability to understand work orders and follow instructions.
- Ability to bend, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- High school Diploma or GED.
