Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our pipe fabrication shop. In this role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure high-quality workmanship, driving efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring timely completion of sales orders.
• Coordinate pipe orders with drivers to optimize productivity while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, schematics, and industry best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each job.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained and organized for efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pipe fabrication or plumbing environments with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, stake body trucks, and other industrial equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment and other maintenance tools.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications or experience related to heavy lifting equipment operation or automotive repair are highly desirable.
