Job Description
Overview
The CNC Mill Setup Technician is responsible for setting up and operating horizontal and vertical mills and lathes to produce quality parts according to specifications. The role may also involve training less-experienced operators.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines accurately and efficiently.
- Run production per Operations Sheet.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors to ensure quality standards.
- Load and unload tooling.
- Adjust CNC programs and tool offsets.
