Overview

We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder to join our dynamic team in Newton, Kansas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques, particularly with aluminum, and possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials as needed throughout the worksite.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in aluminum welding techniques.
• Familiarity with production site environments and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction settings is highly desirable.
