Overview

The Welder position at MIRATECH involves MIG and TIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel parts, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area. The role requires cooperation with various departments and a commitment to quality and resource conservation.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG & TIG welding based on product needs.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions.
• Knowledge of QC and product specifications.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Conserve resources to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPE.
• Perform Substrate Assembly Technician duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• 1+ years experience with metal working equipment in a metal fabrication facility.
• Ability to work independently and complete duties with little supervision.
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner.
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers, forklifts, and cranes.
• Welding certification a plus.
• Prior work experience as a MIG or TIG welder helpful.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
