Egger Steel Company, a leading provider of structural steel fabrication in the Upper Midwest for over 75 years, is seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Bridge Welder to join our dynamic team in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of welding tasks on bridge components including stiffners, diaphrams, webs, and flange splices while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials required.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of welding activities including accurately reading a tape up to a 1/16th of an inch.

Requirements

• Required to pass 3G SMAW Weld Test.
• Required to pass 2G FCAW Weld Test.
• Required to pass 1G Handheld SAW Weld Test.
• Pre-employment drug testing.
• Background check.
• Shop physical.
