Overview

Mitchell Quarry is seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining and repairing quarry equipment, fabricating parts, and ensuring operations run efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on quarry equipment and components
• Operate torches for cutting and heating applications
• Conduct stick welding (SMAW) for repairs and fabrication
• Utilize a company-provided service truck for on-site repairs and fieldwork
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements

Requirements

• Experience with stick welding (SMAW) required
• Proficient in the use of cutting torches
• Experience working with heavy equipment or in a quarry/industrial setting preferred
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team
