Overview

Summertown Metals is looking for a motivated individual to work in their Steel Truss shop. This is a full-time position which is eligible for various benefits.

Responsibilities

• Keep safety at the forefront of the welding process.
• Adhere to company policies and standards.
• Weld trusses to print based on engineered drawings.
• Communicate positively with other team members.
• Meet daily production quotas with the help of team members.
• Follow Jig Leaders' instructions and corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in stocking jigs daily for current or next day's production.
• Ensure production numbers are met or exceeded.
• Align language and attitude with the company culture.
• Maintain an accident-free workforce.
• Minimize downtime.
• Ensure quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Keep the shop clean and organized.
