Overview

The Welding and Fabrication Technician is responsible for skillfully welding and fabricating parts from blueprints using MIG and TIG techniques on steel and aluminum. This role emphasizes precision, quality control, and safety awareness, contributing significantly to the success of the team.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully lay down beads with MIG and TIG machines on steel and aluminum.
• Fabricate parts by cutting, grinding, sanding, and welding based on blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure the quality and strength of welds in various positions.
• Measure and align workpieces with tools for precision.

Requirements

• Must be aged 18 or older.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding with steel and aluminum.
• Familiarity with manufacturing practices.
• Ability to accurately estimate time needed for fabrication tasks.
• Commitment to design, materials, strength, quality, durability, safety, and workmanship.

Additional Information

• Full-time position.
