Overview

WorkSteer is hiring Weld Shop Laborers to join a local weld maintenance team. This full-time position involves assisting welders and performing various tasks related to welding and metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders in their tasks.
• Prep steel materials for welding.
• Perform grinding and cutting of materials.
• Conduct general cleanup of the work area.
• Handle materials as needed.

Requirements

• Welding experience preferred, especially with dual shield/FCAW.
• Previous weld shop or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a shop setting.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to assist in all areas of the shop.
