Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
- Weld small and large components such as pipelines, beams, and structural supports.
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and handle tools like grinders, torches, and clamps.
- Inspect welded surfaces for flaws and ensure the integrity of finished work.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a welder.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
- Knowledge of various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, arc, gas).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
- General Welding (optional).
- MIG and stick welding (optional).
- Vocational or Technical Welding Program (optional).
