Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team, responsible for welding and assembling precision sheet metal components to meet production and quality standards. The role focuses on welding thin gauge aluminum sheet metal and requires attention to detail and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on thin gauge aluminum sheet metal and light-gauge steel components.
• Weld and assemble precision parts with a focus on fit, finish, and minimal distortion.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Experience with MIG welding; TIG experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience welding thin gauge aluminum (.050”–.125”) strongly preferred.
• Experience with stainless steel or aluminum fabrication.
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment (press brake, shear, etc.).
• AWS certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment (heat, noise, etc.).
