Overview

SON Metal Fab is a family-owned sheet metal fabrication company with over 30 years of industry experience, located in Ashland, VA. They are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their production team, focusing on high-quality welding of various metals.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding using gas tungsten arc equipment.
• Weld aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel components.
• Fabricate, install, and repair metal parts and assemblies.
• Use grinding and finishing tools to clean and prepare welds.
• Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and technical schematics.
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on TIG welding experience.
• Ability to produce quality welds independently from day one.
• Experience welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable team player.
