We are looking for a passionate Welder for the Tank Product line to join our team and help exceed customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, weld, clean, and test tank products.
• Operate automated (Robotic) welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform work requiring knowledge of practices and techniques for various equipment.
• Maintain schedule adherence and quality in robotic welding.
• Perform minor robot program adjustments.
• Assemble, weld, test, and prep products for paint and shipment.
• Ensure correct filler material, gas, amperage, and voltage are used.
• Identify parts with contract, model, and part numbers.
• Obtain necessary materials, fixtures, and tools.
• Rig and operate cranes and forklifts to move parts.
• Pre-clean and post-clean work to meet specifications.
• Prepare and mount nameplates to units.
• Enter required data on paperwork or electronic systems.
• Maintain qualifications for weld/braze processes.
• Verify calibration dates for gauges and measuring tools.
• Lubricate and clean tools and equipment daily.
• Perform daily safety checks on power vehicles.
• Observe safety and shop rules, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Assist and/or train new employees.
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Documented completion of formal weld training.
• Pass qualification test for GMAW process with steel.
• Competent in reading and interpreting drawings.
• Capable of performing simple math calculations.
• Ability to lift 30-35 lbs.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about.
