Overview

We are seeking skilled and motivated Welders/Fabricators and Fitters to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring the quality and safety of structural and mechanical assemblies across various manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble components.
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding.
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Fabricate ductwork, pipe systems, sheet metal structures, and mechanical assemblies in accordance with ASME codes & standards.
• Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely during material handling and installation processes.
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Assist with pipe threading, soldering, assembly of mechanical components, and quality inspections to meet project specifications.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven construction site experience or manufacturing background involving metal fabrication.
• Hands-on experience with MIG welding.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to operate cranes or rigging equipment safely during installation or fabrication tasks.
• Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, assembly processes, and machining operations.
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards for welding and fabrication practices is a plus.
