Overview
Wildeck is seeking a MIG Welder for the 2nd shift in Waukesha, WI. The role involves using gas welding equipment to fabricate and repair various metal parts, contributing to the production of high-quality industrial products.
Responsibilities
- Use gas welding equipment to fabricate miscellaneous parts.
- Weld metal parts together using gas welding and arc welding processes.
- Repair broken or cracked parts and fill holes.
- Clamp together components of fabricated metal parts preparatory to welding.
- Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting, drilling, shearing, punch pressing, and de-burring.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from college or technical school in welding or 1-2 years’ experience and/or welding training.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred.
- Physical ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
