Overview

Ace Equipment Company is a local family-owned manufacturer of waste compactors and balers seeking experienced welders for their production team. The position is full-time, and candidates can apply in person or via email.

Responsibilities

• Use manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding process to avoid overheating of parts or warping.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure to ensure accuracy to specifications.
• Operate forklift.
• Accept direction.

Requirements

• Ability to plan ahead and work under deadlines.
• React to change productively.
• Comply with safety policies.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• 1 year of welding experience preferred.
