Overview

Coastline Equipment Inc., a manufacturer of custom food processing equipment, is seeking 2–3 skilled Metal Fabricators to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience in welding, assembling, and fabricating metal components, with extensive travel required for installs and service.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate sheet metal components: cutting, bending, punching, drilling, grinding, assembling
• Read and interpret shop prints accurately
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality control
• Travel to customer sites for installs and preventative maintenance
• Communicate directly with clients during installs and service visits
• Evaluate system performance and report findings to Project Manager and leadership
• Train customer maintenance teams onsite
• Write job reports following field service work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years welding experience (TIG preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and ask questions when clarification is needed
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel (up to 2 weeks at a time)
• Strong communication skills and professionalism with customers

Additional Information

• In the Shop: 10-hour shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), 40+ hours per week
• In the Field: 12-hour shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 60+ hours per week
• Location: Bellingham, WA (In Person)
• Ability to commute required
