Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Ironworker, Welder, and Rigger to join our construction team. This multifaceted role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, strength, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and install structural elements.
- Proficient in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding).
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and fit materials according to specifications.
- Rig heavy loads safely using rigging equipment such as slings, hooks, shackles, and cranes.
- Coordinate crane operations for lifting and positioning materials.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Extensive construction site experience with knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in FCAW welding processes.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, slings, hooks, and shackles for heavy lifting operations.
- Skilled in basic construction hand tools and power tools.
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills.
