Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder specializing in MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welds on various metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials, including sheet metal and structural components, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, torch, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to welding, rigging, and construction site practices.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery as needed for material handling and positioning during fabrication processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG welding with a strong understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, schematics, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
