Overview

Tandemloc, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled MIG Welder to join their elite team in a fast-paced production environment. The position involves producing high-quality MIG welds with a focus on precision, structural integrity, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, fabricate, and secure parts/assemblies according to specifications or technical drawings.
• Perform multi-pass welding on assemblies using Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG).
• Remove nonconforming areas from work using portable hand grinder or die grinder.
• Adhere to all safety and production policies and procedures.
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following all guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the trade as a welder or completion of a 2-year welding certificate or diploma program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Welding Certificate preferred.
• Ability to read prints and use measuring devices.
• Must be able to perform multi-pass stacked welds.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Additional Information

• Work hours are Mon-Thurs 5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with overtime as required.
• All positions are on site in Havelock, NC.
