Overview

Fluid Power Support is a state-of-the-art metal fabrication facility founded in 2000, specializing in various welding and fabrication technologies. The company prides itself on quality and customer service, serving a diverse clientele from Fortune 500 companies to local farmers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality welds in all positions (vertical up, down, flat, and overhead).
  • Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Weld stainless steel and other alloys.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment.
  • Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Repair parts that fail inspection.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of internal welding test.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Manages time wisely.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate.
  • 3-5 years' experience in various forms of welding.

Additional Information

  • Day Shift – Monday thru Friday.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 70 lbs. unassisted).
