Overview

MWI Components is a manufacturer of high-quality metal products used in post-frame buildings across the United States. They are seeking a Welder who values craftsmanship and teamwork to perform MIG welding and ensure quality production.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, galvanized/galvanneal steel and aluminum components according to specifications and work orders.
• Read and interpret work orders, prints and measurements to ensure accurate production.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
