Overview

Immediate openings for field service technicians with at least 5 years’ experience working on overhead cranes and hoists. This is a day shift position with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on overhead material handling equipment such as hoists and overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns for mechanical and electrical problems.
• Contribute to system installations.
• Deal directly with customers and maintain the customer service relationship.
• Manage customer documentation.
• Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with hoists & overhead cranes, including maintenance, troubleshooting & installation.
• Able to work at heights.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills for direct contact with customers.
• Willing to travel as needed to customer locations, occasionally overnight.
• Must reside within 40 miles of Clarksburg, NJ or be willing to relocate.
• High School Diploma / equivalent or better.
• Clean drug test (marijuana not tested).
• Valid Driver’s License & good driving record.
• Completion of an electrical or mechanical certification or trade school degree.
• Industrial electricity experience or ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Experience welding, machining or fabricating.
• Veterans/ Armed Services experience.
