Overview

Chromalloy is a global engineering and solutions company that provides aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions for aircraft engines and gas turbines. The Metal Worker position involves assisting in the repair process and production of high-quality manufactured parts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the repair process and production of manufactured parts.
• Blend surfaces and apply or remove excess material using hand tools or machinery.
• Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools.
• Modify parts to specifications.
• Mix production materials.
• Follow production specifications at all times.
• Implement continuous improvement and lean principles.
• Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Control Manual.
• Adhere to ISO – Total Customer Satisfaction quality requirements.
• Follow Company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous metal working experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
• Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team.
