We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder with a strong background in ornamental iron work.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on ornamental iron projects including gates, railings, fences, and custom pieces.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
• Fabricate and assemble components to specifications.
• Grind, clean, and finish welds to a high-quality standard suitable for visible work.
• Ensure projects meet quality and design expectations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with fabricators, prep team, and installers as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of welding experience (ornamental iron or similar preferred).
• Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG experience is a plus).
• Strong fabrication skills and understanding of metalworking techniques.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and shop drawings.
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 100lbs.
• Standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with heat, noise, and dust.
