Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in a manufacturing facility. This is a shutdown type job that may involve working a month straight in Sylacauga or being off for a month, requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting tasks on various metal components and assemblies.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other electrical tools to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in technical sales by providing insights on product capabilities and specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role within a manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of various welding equipment.
• Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments and their application.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Ability to commute to Sylacauga, AL 35151 is required.
• Relocation to Sylacauga, AL 35151 is preferred before starting work.
• Willingness to travel 25% is preferred.
• Work location is in person.
