Overview

TRM Innovative Hearth Products is a company formed from the merger of several companies, including Fireplace Manufacturers Inc. and Lennox Industries Hearth Division. The RV Mig Welder will be responsible for welding tasks, including reading blueprints and repairing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Cut metal into the correct shape and join pieces of metal together.
• Fill seams, indentations, and holes in metal products.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Use power supplies, torches, grinders, saws, and other heavy machinery.
• Assess which welding equipment is required for specific tasks.
• Inspect welded surfaces and smooth them for the best finish.
• Align components to be welded using rulers and clamp the pieces for stability.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
• Study blueprints or project specifications.
• Calculate dimensions of parts to be welded.

Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience.
• High levels of concentration.
• Attention to detail.
• Health and Safety Awareness.
• Experience with TIG/MMA/MIG welding on stainless steel 316L, Alloy 800, duplex, and some carbon.
• A good engineering background.
• Fluency in English; fluency in Spanish is a plus.
