CFD Research is seeking an Orbital Welder to join their team in Hollywood, Alabama, focusing on fabricating and welding complex assemblies. The company, established in 1987, specializes in innovative technology solutions across various industries and is recognized as a top growing company.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld simple to complex assemblies.
- Support technology development programs at the Hollywood Engineering Test Center.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Requires an associate's degree or higher and a minimum of 4 years experience in a machining environment.
- Experience designing and developing tooling and fixtures for manufacturing.
- Proficient in working with aluminum, steel, stainless steels, and nickel alloys.
- Familiarity with AS9100 process.
- Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with ERP systems (Cetec).
- Experience with aerospace hardware.
- Experience with TIG welding techniques.
- Experience in Orbital Pipe Welding.
