Overview

The Welder position involves precision TIG and MIG welding of metal components, primarily working independently with minimal guidance. The role requires reading blueprints, inspecting materials, and ensuring high-quality welds.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and/or product specs of desired product.
• Calculate and mark the dimensions of metal parts to be welded.
• Inspect material and ensure all parts are properly fitted/aligned before welding.
• Use of TIG (and sometimes MIG) welding.
• Continuously check precision weld quality.
• Move product to and from different areas as needed using manual and hydraulic assisted hand trucks.
• Maintain a clean work area and keep up supplies needed to complete daily work.
