Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of construction site operations. This role involves working with different materials and performing tasks that require precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, positions and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Designs, fabricates, installs and/or repairs various types of metal objects and structures using various welding techniques.
• Installs or repairs equipment such as heavy equipment, bins, etc.
• Operates drill presses, grinder, power saws, metal lathes and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
• Welds components and assemblies using arc and/or other welding equipment.
• Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/GED.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Be safety oriented.
• Must have own transportation and possess current driver license.
• Minimum of two years of welding experience or completion of an accredited two to four year welder's training program.
• Skills in the fabrication, joining and repair of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to work independently.
• Must work outdoors.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
