Overview

StarksBuilt LLC is a growing, detail-driven fabrication shop seeking a skilled Metal Finisher/Grinder to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will take pride in producing high-quality work in a dynamic shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and skillfully grind and finish parts to match material profiles.
• Use angle grinders, die grinders, belt and palm sanders to remove weld splatter, slag, and burrs.
• Grind down seams to ensure a flush, seamless finish without compromising weld integrity.
• Clean and prep high end railing parts for painting, powder coating, or shipping.
• Check parts against blueprints or templates to ensure they meet 'no-snag' standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a metal fab or welding shop is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
• Must have a constructive, can-do attitude and willingness to support the team.
• Must be drug-free and possess a valid driver's license.

Additional Information

• Currently running 10-hour shifts, 6 days a week with overtime opportunities.
• After the current project, hours will shift to a standard 40-hour week, 5 days a week.
