Welding Pros is a welding-jobs aggregator. We surface listings from public sources and from employers who post directly. We collect the minimum data needed to run the site: an email if you subscribe to the digest, the contents of a contact form if you write to us, and standard analytics on how pages are used. We do not sell personal information.

Information you give us

• Email subscriptions. When you subscribe to job alerts we store your email address and your selected state preference.
• Contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, email, topic, and message text. We also log the IP address, user-agent, and referring URL of the submission to fight spam.
• Job postings. When an employer posts a paid listing we receive the role details, company information, and a billing email. Card data is collected and stored by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics. We use analytics services to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which features are used. Captured properties include page path, referrer, browser/OS, screen size, country (derived from IP), and click-id / UTM parameters present in the URL (for example fbclid, gclid, utm_source). Our analytics provider may store a randomly generated identifier in your browser's localStorage to recognize repeat sessions.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs containing IP address, user-agent, and request path for security and debugging.
• Place autocomplete. When you type into the location search box we send your query to a third-party place-suggestion API to return city matches. That provider's privacy practices apply to the request.

• To run, secure, and improve Welding Pros.
• To send the weekly job digest you subscribed to and to confirm or unsubscribe you.
• To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
• To process payments and email receipts when an employer posts a paid listing.
• To detect and prevent spam, abuse, and automated scraping.
• To measure ad performance and improve content (anonymous analytics).

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not run third-party ad-network tracking on Welding Pros.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We only share data in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the site (such as hosting providers, database providers, analytics services, email delivery services, and payment processors). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are only authorized to use your data as necessary to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.
• Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction but will remain subject to the same privacy protections.

Welding Pros itself does not set marketing cookies. Our analytics provider may store a randomly generated identifier in your browser's localStorage to recognize repeat sessions, and our hosting provider may set short-lived cookies for performance and security. You can clear localStorage in your browser at any time to reset analytics identifiers.

We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals where applicable.

• Subscriptions: kept until you unsubscribe; one-click unsubscribe is in every email.
• Contact-form submissions: kept in our support inbox for as long as we may need to reply or reference the conversation.
• Posted jobs and billing records: kept for at least seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements.
• Analytics events: retained according to our analytics provider's default retention windows.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@weldingpros.co from the address you used on the site. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we have collected and to request deletion under the CCPA / CPRA. We do not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents have the rights granted under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Our legal basis for processing is (a) consent, for marketing email; (b) contract, for paid listings; and (c) legitimate interest, for security, fraud prevention, and core analytics.

Welding Pros is intended for adults pursuing or hiring for welding work and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we will delete it.

We use industry-standard measures — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted credentials, scoped API keys, and access controls — to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond promptly if something goes wrong.

Welding Pros is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the site from another country your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States by us or our service providers.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated by email if we have a way to reach you.
